[802SEC] Reporting Election Results
Dear EC members,
When you are reporting your election results this afternoon, I want you to present the number of votes each nominee received for each position you will be reporting on. If there was no opposition and a precise vote count was is not taken, please provide an estimate of the number of votes that were cast and the number of members in the room when the election occured.
Examples:
In the case of tallied ballots:
Position: WGx Chair
Nominee1: 100 votes
Nominee2: 10 votes
In the case of elections without a vote tally
Position: TAGx Vice Chair
Nominee1 (unopposed): unanimous
estimate of votes in favor: 100
estimate of members present: 120
