I fully support the intent of the letter, but because of some IEEE-SA
activities I'm involved in am sensitized to one thing.  

It would be more accurate if the last three "IEEE" were changed to "IEEE
802".  While the second paragraph makes it clear that the letter is the
opinion of IEEE 802, These three (especially the last) would better
agree with the indicated level of approval if changed to IEEE 802. (I'm
assuming without checking that 8F/1065 was approved by the EC.)
