The Computer Society is desparately seeking nominees for the Hans Karlsson Award. Surely, there is someone in your WG or TAG that may be deserving of the award. Hi Paul,
This is an appeal for the 802 group to submit a nomination for the Hans Karlsson Award. There haven't been any recent nominations for an 802 volunteer, and
there must be individuals who deserve recognition in your highly successful standards group.
The process isn't painful - submit a nomination online and recruit at least three endorsers. Information requested includes the nominee's professional affiliations, length of service and why the individual is qualified to receive the award.
The nominator can upload a file with the information. Staff can help walk a nominator through the process.
A list of past recipients and the nominations link can be found at http://www.computer.org/portal/web/awards/karlsson. The nominations deadline is Friday, 15 October.
Is there an email alias list or a few individuals we can contact to pitch a Karlsson nomination?
