Dear EC members,
Please review the below referenced 'standards participant ecosytem' white-paper and provide feedback to the SA as requested below, I believe the perspective of 802 participants will be critical in this study. I don't know what a 'standards participant ecosytem' is, it may be explained in the paper (I haven't read it yet myself).
I don't see a deadline for the feedback, but I think it would be good if we (each EC member) can provide it before 25MAR.
Finally, I'm not sure if the SA is looking from feedback from all 802 participants, but I think the information should be shared with your groups--so please do so and encourage them to provide feedback too. Thank you.
Regards,

Subject: Fwd: SASB March Forum Topic Announced: IEEE-SA Participant Ecosystem
Since its establishment in 1998, the IEEE-SA has constantly sought to adapt to change without wavering from its goal of serving as a leading consensus building organization that nurtures, develops and advances global technologies, through IEEE. As the IEEE-SA looks to the future, the input of IEEE standards participants in this ongoing evolution will prove invaluable. On Tuesday, 25 March 2014, the IEEE-SA Standards Board Forum at the New Brunswick Hyatt Regency will focus on first steps for evolving the IEEE-SA Participant Ecosystem. The primary goals of this project are to assess what changes are needed to keep the IEEE-SA a globally recognized and respected standards development organization (SDO) and make the IEEE-SA the SDO of choice for individuals and organizations alike. We hope you will attend the Forum and participate in the conversation. In preparation for the Forum, a whitepaper has been posted for feedback from staff and volunteers at https://ieee-sa.centraldesktop.com/p/eAAAAAAADDmWAAAAAC3XvfA Please read the whitepaper and submit your ideas for the IEEE-SA Participant Ecosystem at https://ieee-sa.centraldesktop.com/p/eAAAAAAADDmUAAAAAE1WD30 If you have any changes to your meeting series registration, please update via Cvent (below) by Thursday, 13 March 2014.
