[802SEC] Update - Monday Nov 3 Meeting to discuss 802C PAR

Dear EC members,

Two more presentation requests have come in since last Friday, one from Mr. Bob Grow as RAC chair, another from Mr. John Kenney on MAC addy randomization as used in DSRC/802.11p.  I'm going to keep the presentation time limited to 30 minutes and cap the number of presenters to 6.  I request the presenters with similar material try to combine their material where it makes sense.   We must reserve 30 minutes for discussion and a straw poll.

If we discover more discussion/presentation time is needed beyond what has been allocated Monday night, I request the 802.1 chair find time and incorporate it as part of 802.1's business.

Regards,

Dear EC members,

I will chair the Monday night meeting for the IEEE 802c draft PAR discussion.  Given that we've budgeted 1 hour, I request we follow this process:

a) presenters send their presentations to JohnD for posting to the EC Documents location on Mentor to the as soon as possible so people have a chance to review them off-line.
b) presenters keep their presentations as brief as possible
c) all questions be held until the presentations are complete and the discussion phase begins

I want to us have at least 30 minutes for discussion and a possible straw poll.

Regards,
