Paul has delegated the conduct of the EC electronic ballot on the following
motion to me. To facilitate the timely processing of the contract extension
as soon as practical I'm announcing the possibility of an 'early close' to
this ballot (see below).

Whereas:

Clause 7 of the Statement of Work of the Network Services agreement with
Verilan allows for an extension for a period of up to three (3) years.
The 802 EC Network AdHoc has virtually met and recommends to the IEEE 802
Executive Committee to extend the Network Services Contract with Verilan
for an additional 6 Meetings. The proposal would give a 2 year extension
equivalent (6 new meetings - July 2015 through Nov 2016)

Move to extend the Verilan Network Services Contract by 6 new sessions -
July 2015 through Nov 2016.
Details of the contract are to be negotiated by the 802 Exec Secretary and
executed by IEEE Contract Services.

Early close: As required in subclause 4.1.2 'Voting rules' of the IEEE 802
LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC) Operations Manual, this is notice that
this ballot may close early once sufficient responses are received to
clearly decide a matter.
"For urgent matters once sufficient response is received to clearly decide
a matter, the ballot may be closed early. This
allows a decision to be reached in less than 10 days. Ballots where the
possibility of an early close exists must be clearly marked accordingly."
