As I read the motion, it would
not have any effect until the asterisk action is completed; but, since
the completion of the asterisk would require, at minimum, further action
of the EC, then I'd like to understand in what ways the motion moves
the ball forward.
Please cast a vote on the following motion with the understanding we
close this ballot early per the 4.1.2 Voting Rules of the 802 OM.
Motion: The IEEE 802 EC respectfully requests the IEEE SA actively
engage select* IEEE 802 JTC1 members in the revision process of the PSDO
agreement, as IEEE 802 is a critical stakeholder in any outcome of the
PSDO revision process. (see below IEEE 802 JTC1 SC motion)
*as agreed to by the IEEE 802 EC and IEEE SA
