Hello Pat,
I’m not sure why you’re asking me. I didn’t arrange this. But
it might be because this is an interim, and this isn’t a *real* tutorial.

Subject: RE: [802SEC] 802.16 narrowband tutorial: 19 January
Why isn’t this planned for the usual Monday tutorial slots?
In addition to conflicts with other Tuesday evening meetings, having it on Tuesday puts it after the deadline for submitting PAR comments.
Pat
I’ll advertise this to 802.11 folks in the 802.11 opening plenary.
FYI, we have 5 meetings in parallel with this in 802.11.

Bob,
Thanks for your comment. Tim and I have decided to accommodate it and have rescheduled the tutorial to one hour later (19:30-21:00 Tuesday).

For what it is worth, 802.1 and 802.15 have a joint meeting scheduled in that time slot as well. That will take a few of us out of the running.

Dear EC Colleagues,
At the November meeting, 802.16 proposed a draft PAR for an 802.16s narrowband project, but the proposal was insufficiently coordinated with the EC members and was not forwarded.
In preparation for further progressing the PAR, the 802.16 WG and the 802.24 TAG are planning a tutorial on the topic for the Atlanta meeting. This will take place Tuesday 19 January, 18:30-20:00 in Regency V. We encourage EC members, and other interested participants,
to attend.
The
agenda is posted and may be refined. The current speaker lineup is below.
Please inform your constituencies as you see fit. We welcome participants and questions.
