EC members, I would like to thank everyone for voting so quickly. I am getting ready to leave for the airport and wanted to send out the current vote tally. We currently have 11 Yes votes which I believe meets the early close requirement, since this vote requires 66% of 16 voters and hence at least 11
Yes votes. I have provided the Word version of the liaison to Paul so he can add the date, remove the watermark and send the liaison. Thanks, Steve ----------------------------------

On Behalf Of Shellhammer, Steve
Dear EC Members,
Paul has delegated the conduct of the EC electronic ballot on the following motion to me.
======
Background
At the May IEEE 802 meeting the attached liaison was approved by a vote of 14/4/4, where all 802 members in the room were permitted to vote. The vote of the WG members in the room was 4/2/0.
We would like to complete this ballot in time for Paul to send it to 3GPP prior to the RAN1 meeting which begins on Monday May 23, so I am declaring an early close (see below).
Regards,
Steve
