Dear EC members, The 802.11 WG approved a revision PAR. According to the established practice, we would pre-submit it by 10th Feb to get on the March telecon, seek 802 EC approval in the March plenary, and pull it from the NesCom agenda if that approval is not forthcoming. There is an EC telecon before 10th Feb. Approval at that telecon would obviate any risk of having to pull an item from the NesCom agenda. The 802 Chair's guidelines say (thank you Jon): 4.3.6
Out of Scope topics for Interim Meetings: Topics of
discussion and decisions that are out of scope for the interim
teleconference include topics that
require working group input and/or discussion such as PAR
approval. During a plenary session, our rules allow submission of a maintenance PAR 2 days before the closing plenary, which does not allow time for "working group input".
