Before you do as Dr. Glib proposes,
I would suggest that you consult with the other wireless chairs on a naming scheme that gives each of the wireless LAN standards a distinguished name.  His suggestion is no more appropriate than "Standard for LANs" or "Standard for Wired LANs" would have been for 802.3.
