With this email I would like to announce the start of an LMSC(EC) ballot on the next two submissions to ITU-R WP 5A for updates to: Recommendation ITU-R M.1450-5, Characteristics of broadband radio local area networks Recommendation ITU-R M.1801-2, Radio interface standards for broadband wireless access systems, including mobile and nomadic applications, in the mobile service.
Paul has delegated to me to conduct a
LMSC(EC) 10-day electronic ballot on the motion below to approve the comments and
submit to ITU-R WP 5A. This EC motion is
per IEEE 802 OM 7.2.1 Procedure, P&P 7.1 b) (majority response) and P&P
7.1.2 (2/3 approval of votes cast) for communication with government bodies and
public statements.
• Motion: Move to approve documents https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/21/18-21-0014-01-0000-itu-ahg-recommended-modifications-to-itu-r-m-1450-5.docx and https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/dcn/21/18-21-0015-01-0000-itu-ahg-recommended-modifications-to-itu-r-m-1801-2.docx for ITU-R M.1450-5 and M.1801-2 updated edits, respectively. For submission to ITU-R WP 5A via ITU-R Liaison no later than 2 weeks before ITU-R WP 5A next meeting. The Chair of 802.18 is authorized to make editorial changes as necessary.
