Re: [802SEC] correction ***anticipated 802 EC meeting agenda items for the November 2021 802 LMSC Plenary***

Hello Steve,

Per Roger's comment, the word "Defer" has been deleted, as we are not providing a resolution to the comments.

I believe it is appropriate to include the remaining text noting the SE-001 etc comments that were received, and the fact that a response will be provided
by the IEEE SA, since all of the comments were sent to us by JTC1/SC6.

Thanks,

Dorothy

Steve,

Dorothy is correct, 802 will craft the 802's response, the SA President will craft the SA response, then IEEE staff will send both responses simultaneously to JTC1.

Regards,

Hello Steve,

Assuming EC approval of the 11-21-1400r6 document, I think we should defer to Paul as EC chair to work the logistics with IEEE staff.

Paul is working on this in parallel.

At this point as I understand it,  the plan is that IEEE staff will send both responses, one on behalf of 802 (CNB comment responses) and

the other from IEEE-SA/Jim Matthews.

Thanks,

Dorothy

Dorothy,

Will the motion on the liaison letter to send to ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 or to send to SA for including in their liaison to ISO?

It sounded like Paul was suggesting we submit to SA and then they send the liaison, if I understood it correctly.

A cleaner approach might be for 802 to send in our liaison and SA to send in their liaison, but if we want SA to send in the liaison we should be clear on that.

Thanks,

Steve
