Re: [802SEC] P802.3DG PAR & CSD comment responses

Dear Colleagues,

My apologies for the typo in the redline. The always helpful and responsive NesCom administrator has already made the requested changes to the IEEE P802.3cg PAR (thank you Lisa!!). I've also corrected the redline version. Based on this please find the redline and clean final IEEE P802.3cg PAR as follows.

Best regards,
  David

Thank you, Bob – as you probably know the actual PAR edit at this point is in the hands of the Nescom administrator.  I have checked t he instructions passed, and they are correct (see below:
[1] In item 5.5, please change 'IEEE 802.3 does not ....' to read ' IEEE Std 802.3 does not ....'.
[2] In item 8.1, please add '5.5: IEEE Std 802.3 - Standard for Ethernet'.
)
However, the markup is wrong.  David produced the redline, and unfortunately, I do not have upload permission to revise, but hopefully David will make the edit when the sun rises once again wherever he is in the world.

George,

The “Std” in the last sentence of 5.5 is in the wrong place ("IEEE 802.3 Std” instead of “IEEE Std 802.3”).

Colleagues,

The responses to the comments received on the proposed IEEE P802.3DG PAR and CSDs are in the file noted below:

Comment response:     https://www.ieee802.org/3/GT10MSPE/public/zimmerman_3GT10M_01a_03162022.pdf

The draft PAR and CSDs resulting from these are up for consideration at tomorrow’s IEEE 802.3 closing plenary. (and following that, if successful, for Friday’s 802 EC meeting)

Thank you for your reviews and participation.

-george
