[802SEC] IEEE SA TF meeting notes - S&SI SMDC

Jodi & Paul –

I think there is some confusion in the IEEE SA TF meeting notes.  Where it says that I am now the VP for the S&SI SMDC, that is incorrect.  I am chairing an ad hoc of the S&SI SMDC.  Gary Hoffman is still the VP for S&SI SMDC.

However, I am leading an ad hoc which is focused on the SA potentially providing support for mixed mode and remote meetings, under the S&SI SMDC.  That ad hoc has yet to meet, but is forming up at this time.  I expect a meeting will be announced shortly, within the month, and I will provide an update to the next 802/SA TF meeting.

 

Generally the TF meetings conflict with a standing meeting of mine, so the update will likely be in written form.
