Hi Paul, I do apologise for not being clear. I made this request as an individual member of the IEEE P3400 reflector in response to a request from the IEEE P3400 Inclusive Language Working Group Secretary, Kerry Blinco, who said, 'Please pass
this along to your colleagues who may be interested in joining the Ballot Group'. I thought that there would be some in the IEEE 802 community that may be interested in joining the Ballot Group. Regardless, my email has achieved the desired outcome, thank
you for forwarding this to the IEEE 802 LMSC reflector :-) Best regards, David ----- From: ***** IEEE 802 Executive Committee List ***** <STDS-802-SEC@listserv.ieee.org> On Behalf Of Paul Nikolich Sent: 07 July 2023 12:40 To: STDS-802-SEC@LISTSERV.IEEE.ORG Subject: [802SEC] FW: IEEE P3400 Standard for Use of Inclusive Language in Technical Terminology and Communications Balloting Group Formation Invitation. Subject: IEEE P3400 Standard for Use of Inclusive Language in Technical Terminology and Communications Balloting Group Formation Invitation.
Hi Paul, As you will see below, the IEEE P3400 Inclusive Language Working Group Secretary has asked everybody on the IEEE P3400 reflector to pass along the Standards Association balloting group formation announcement for the IEEE P3400 ‘Standard
for Use of Inclusive Language in Technical Terminology and Communications’ project <https://standards.ieee.org/ieee/3400/10852/ to colleagues.
I’m not sure if you are on the IEEE P3400 reflector, but perhaps you can forward this announcement to the IEEE 802 LMSC reflector, asking Chairs to forward it to their reflectors, if you think that is appropriate. Thanks, and best regards, David From: Kerry Blinco The invitation to join the balloting group for P3400 (Standard for Use of Inclusive Language in Technical Terminology and Communications) has been sent
through my Project. A copy of the invitation is included below. Please pass this along to your colleagues who may be interested in joining the Ballot Group
