I am pulling Motion 2 off of the consent agenda –

Study Group formations are not the type of items typically put on the consent agenda – so EC members may understand the study group being formed.

I have the following motions for the consent agenda for 802.11. They are derived from the EC templates (which should probably be updated: Study Group -> PAR Study Group).

 

Motion 1: 

Grant the 2nd rechartering & 6 month extension of the 802.11 IMMW Study Group.

Motion 2:

Approve the formation of 802.11 ELC Study Group to consider development of a Project Authorization Request (PAR) and Criteria for Standards Development (CSD) responses for enhanced light communications.
