stds-802-16: invitation to join 802.16 in Colorado for September 2003 interim
Dear 802.11, 802.15, 802.16, 802.18. 802.19, and 802.20 Cha:
At its March 13 meeting, the IEEE 802.16 Working Group passed a
motion to hold its September 2003 session in Colorado and to invite
the other 802 wireless groups to join us. So, consider this an
invitation.
I have been working with the Adam's Mark Hotel
<http://adamsmark.com/denver> in Denver. This is a large facility,
with 133,000 square feet of meeting space (compared to 20,000 at the
Fort Lauderdale Marina Marriott, site of the January
802.11/15/18/19/20 interim). The facilities are excellent, and so is
the location in downtown Denver. It's on the free downtown Mall
Shuttle bus, which runs past midnight (every 2 minutes in the peak
hours). The nightly room rate would be in the range of $129.
I welcome you to join us in Denver. Please let me know, as soon as
you can, what you decide so I can proceed with planning.
If you will be meeting elsewhere, please let me know of your intended
dates so that I can try to avoid a simultaneous session.
