[STDS-802-16] Fw: [STDS-802-16] +++IEEE 802.16 Recirc Ballot #16a is now open+++

This is just a reminder that today, January 10 AOE, is the deadline for Ballots and comments for Recirculation Ballot #16a on the 16f document.

Again, if you have already balloted and do not wish to change your ballot, there is no need to re-cast your ballot. You can check on the status of your ballot at http://ieee802.org/16/netman/ballot16/report16.html. Only Ballot Group Members may ballot in this Working Group Recirculation Ballot. Please see Annex A of http://ieee802.org/16/docs/04/80216-04_78.pdf to determine if you are part of the Ballot Group.

As previously announced, http://ieee802.org/16/docs/04/80216-04_78.pdf gives instruction on the mechanics for preparing and forwarding comments, including any contributions, for consideration in the Ballot resolution process at Session 35. This is a Recirculation Ballot, so comments on IEEE P802.16f/D2 (http://ieee802.org/16/private/drafts/netman/P80216f_D2.zip) are restricted to comments referencing the resolution of previous comment items from Working Group Ballot 16 as detailed in http://ieee802.org/16/docs/04/80216-04_68r4.zip. Recirculation comments must appropriately reference the related previous, parent comment number and have relevance to that previous comment's resolution. Failure of a Recirculation comment to appropriately reference its parent comment number and have specific relevance to the resolution of its parent comment may cause the Recirculation comment to be ruled out-of-scope and for the comment to not be considered. Note that non-Ballot Group Members may issue comments during this Recirculation Ballot, though they may not ballot.

Again, this is just a reminder of the pending deadline on Recirculation Ballot #16a.

Thanks,
Phillip Barber
