IEEE 802.16's Network Management Task Group: 802.16k Project

IEEE 802.16's Network Management Task Group (NetMan) was chartered to develop a series of standards as amendments to IEEE Std 802.16 (and, in this case, to IEEE Std 802.1D).

This page documents the activities of the Task Group in developing IEEE 802.16k.

IEEE Std 802.16k-2007 ("Standard for Local and Metropolitan Area Networks: Media Access Control (MAC) Bridges - Amendment 2: Bridging of IEEE 802.16") was approved by the IEEE-SA Standards Board on 22 March 2007 as an amendment to IEEE Std 802.1D. It was published on 14 August 2007.
