Re: [802.19] May Agenda for IEEE 802.19

Hi Steve,

Steve, All

Sorry if you had the impression that I would present at the interim, I see that I am on the agenda instead of the next conference call.
I am in the unfortunate position of caring for my Mom who is dying, consequently I do not know if I will attend, let alone
have the time to pursue the subject.

However, I will offer my thoughts as of this moment.  In studying the NOI it is clear that this is an issue
that involves every technology across Broadband, and it will be difficult to come to any conclusion that would

represent the different WG’s as they should represent themselves with any response they would want to bring
before 802.18 with the intent of comment to the FCC.

That said, it may be worthwhile to read the NOI in terms relating to our task, and if it offers any help
to our coexistence deliverables in relation to the questions asked that reference
WS,  the second report and order (section 21 in the NOI) where they invite comment under their (FCC) rules about
unlicensed operation.

Hopefully I have not upset the schedule, and if others want to have a discussion you could use that time
or ask per email if this makes sense to discuss.

Sincerely, Nancy

Subject: [802.19] May Agenda for IEEE 802.19

All,

I have posted the agenda for the May 802.19 meeting in Montreal.

                https://mentor.ieee.org/802.19/dcn/09/19-09-0021-00-0000-may-2009-agenda.xls

It includes three two-hour time slots for the TVWS coexistence study group and one two-hour time slot for the TAG.  Click on the Tabs at the bottom to see the various sheets with the graphic, and sheets for each day.

Right now the agenda items are quite general.

For the study group they are the discussion of any comments on the FCC NOI on wireless broadband and most of the time is dedicated to receiving and reviewing contributions on TVWS use cases and coexistence scenarios.  If anyone would like to add anything to the agenda, like a specific presentation on use cases and coexistence scenarios please notify me and I will add it to the agenda.

There is nothing specific planned for the TAG time slot.  If anyone has any TAG business regarding coexistence other than the TVWS please notify me and I will put it on the agenda.

Steve
