                You are correct.  This is assumed.  We could also discuss whether such a control channel is required.

 

                We could have another straw poll.  May I suggest we agree on the wording first before I issue another straw poll.

 

                Feel free to suggest some wording.

There is a critical choice missing, or the sequence of this particular poll is wrong (or maybe it is just worded poorly).  In order to vote in this poll you first have to believe that a control channel is required.  A control channel implies a separate data path, which is not part of all of the proposals.
