[802SEC] IEEE P802.11bf Clause 12 report



Dear LMSC members,

At the 15 March 2024 IEEE 802 closing plenary meeting, conditional approval was granted for P802.11bf WLAN Sensing to proceed to SA ballot. Below is a report detailing conformance with the conditional approval. Based on this, I will go ahead and submit P802.11bf for SA ballot.

The recirculation balloting is complete. Three ballots (initial + 2 recirc) had been completed at the time conditional approval was granted. A final recirculation ballot has since been completed in accordance with the timeline presented. Details for this ballot are as follows:

Ballot open: 10-Apr-2024
Ballot close: 26-Apr-2204
Ballot duration: 16 days
Approve: 354
Disapprove: 13
Abstain: 38
Invalid votes: 7
Pool size: 491
Approval rate: 96.5%
Abstain rate: 7.7%
Return rate: 82.5%

There are no new disapprove votes. The EC report detailed 13 unsatisfied commenters and those same commenters remain unsatisfied.

No technical changes have been made to the draft as a result of the last recirculation ballot.

No new disapprove comments were received from the recirculation ballot.
