All, During the session yesterday, some concerns were raised about meeting the reliability requirements. Before unleashing a full-fledged analysis, which we will have to do in any case for filling up the description and compliance templates, it might be good to look at the NR design as well. Please note that in 802.11 data portions in the MAC packet are protected by a 32 bit CRC, which is larger than what 3GPP NR uses (24 bits). So at least w.r.t the MAC packet, 802.11 is more reliable than NR (as you may already know, both use LDPC for data). Thanks and Kind Regards, Rakesh |
