Thanks for the feedback, Al.
Please see my earlier email. Looks like we get one account to use as much as we like.
That means we should pay attention to overlaps when approving telecons.

I use join.me a several times a week. It’s a good inexpensive meeting tool. It works well on both PC and MAC.

Do we know anything about the cost model?
In particular, since ARC needs a telecon bridge so rarely, I’m hesitant to request an account, unless the account is more or less free, and it
is only the actual usage that results in costs.

Hello Adrian and All,
I've just submitted a request for join.me account and waiting for approval.
TGax has a conference call next Wednesday and I will be glad to try this tool, provided that the call is not cancelled and I get the approval on time.
Regards;
Osama.

FYI,
A new meeting tool from the IEEE-SA.
I confirmed with IEEE-SA staff that this tool will be in use for at least a year, but the intention is to make it permanently available.
Has anybody experience with "join me"?
As far as I know we can have multiple accounts. So if you are likely to want to set
up meetings using this tool, feel free to apply for an account. Don't feel under any obligation
to use the tool. Once we have a little experience we might decide whether to recommend use or non-use
of this tool in our groups.

Subject: New Virtual Meeting Tool
IEEE Standards Association is pleased to offer a virtual meeting application--Join.me--at no charge to all Industry Connections activities and standards development participants to help facilitate and enable collaboration. This new tool will offer groups the
ability to schedule and hold online meetings allowing for screen sharing and teleconferences with integrated voice over IP, and international dial in numbers.
The Join.me virtual meeting/online collaboration tool is one of the many tools and resources made available to the IEEE-SA standards development community in an effort to help facilitate and enhance the entire standards development lifecycle. Join.me is being
offered to groups at no charge; however, groups are not required to use this tool if they have access to other solutions that are more suitable to their needs.
If you wish to receive a Join.me account at no charge, please fill out the form to request an account. Accounts will be provided for each organization (Industry Connections activities, Study Groups, Working Groups, etc.) once verified through our Solutions
Team.
