IEEE 802.11 WG is pushing our amendments through the PSDO process into ISO/IEC JTC1/SC6. SAs part of the PSDO execution process it has been agreed that we will regularly inform SC6 of progress by liaising drafts, particularly during the Sponsor Ballot process.

 

We have liaised the following drafts in SB

·         11mc D5.0 in Jan 16 (now 6.0)

·         11ah D5.0 in Oct 15 (now 8.0)

·         11ai D6.0 in Oct 15 (now 8.0)

 

It might be time to liaise the latest drafts of the above documents again. Is this something that you want the WG to discuss on Wednesday or Friday? The EC then needs to approve the liaisons (probably by consent).

 

In addition, I understand that 11aq is about to go to SB. Can the WG approve liaising the draft when it does enter SB? This will also need EC approval.
