Re: [STDS-802-11-CAC] Question on reminders for SA Ballots

Yes, but a calendar reminder saying "Ballot for 11zz/D9.0 closes at 23:59 AoE on 2099-09-09", as for WG ballots, would be even better.

Thanks,

Mark

Subject: [STDS-802-11-CAC] Question on reminders for SA Ballots

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Chairs' Advisory Committee Reflector ---

Greetings,

During yesterday's CAC teleconference, it was discussed about getting reminders to participate/vote on SA ballots from the MyProject system.  I looked into what had been done, and found that there was a message sent via MyProject to all the members of the ballot group to remind them about 10 days prior to the end of the ballot.

Message sent:

Sent Date : 24 May 2024 00:00:35 UTC-12
Subject : Reminder to submit a vote for IEEE P802.11bf
Message :
---------- MESSAGE BODY ---------

Note that you have a choice on how to receive messages from myProject:

Login to myProject, select "Manage  Profile  & Interests" from the Menu

change to Preferences tab.

It may be that you are planning on logging into myProject to get your messages on your own time which would be "None" or you get a daily digest - an email with all the messages for the day sent each evening, or you get the messages forwarded to the "Notifications will be sent to"  address.

This capability may be why you miss notifications from myProject.

Kind Regards,

Jon
