[STDS-802-11-REG] DSRC Coexistence Tiger Team call: 04 Oct 2013

Greetings all,
My apologies for having to miss the call last week.  Thanks to Rich for hosting the call in my absence, especially for having to issue a new WebEx.
The call this week may be relatively short; we were expecting at least one and possibly two presentations, but neither are ready.  So this week's agenda will mostly be focused on adjusting the schedule.  The agenda slides can be found at: https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/13/11-13-1261-00-0reg-agenda-for-dsrc-coexistence-tiger-team-call-04oct2013.ppt

The conference call schedule for all of 802.11 can be found at http://www.ieee802.org/11/
I want to reiterate the request for presentations on the following topics:
1) DSRC measurements and field trials - what has been measured in the lab as well as in the field.  Of particular interest would be what is happening in the Ann Arbor field trials.
2) How CCA works in 802.11ac - 802.11ac has the ability to perform Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) in several different ways.  It would be useful for everyone to have a common understanding of CCA so we can explore its suitability as a coexistence mechanism

Best regards,
Jim
