Re: [STDS-802-11-REG] Meeting invitation: DSRC 5.9GHz Tiger Team

Dicjk:

I no longer have access to the BlackBerry webex, and Jim's CSR webex is challenging. I appreciate the offer, and I will have Adrian list this one for the DSRC Tiger Team meetings.

Thanks again.

Rich

Rich et. al.,

If the webex works out, I have permission to use it as long as it's for ITS related standards work, which it most certainly is in this case.  I'm happy to help if I can :^)))

Cheers,

RR

Eldad:

The audio quality of the last call was horrendous, and wasted nearly half the call. The webex that we have used, and that is still shown on the IEEE 802.11 website, is going to have to be changed. Dick Roy offered to try to get us a better alternative, which he just managed to get approval for, and I donâ??t know if it is just for this week, or until we can get a better service. Jim is at an offsite in the UK, so didnâ??t have the opportunity to make this last minute change. I am sorry if you got confused.

Dick, thank you for taking care of this.

This does NOT match the conference call information on the 802.11 website, which I just copied below.  And unless I missed an email, I never saw a change of bridge announced to the REG or 802.11 reflector.

The Reg SC leadership needs to send an email to the reflector when they have this mess sorted out.  Till then Iâ??m assuming that the 802.11 website conference information is the official bridge information, not some bridge information sent out by some random person.

Andy,

You may recall the audio issues we had with the call last Friday.  I offered to host this week's meeting since the webex account to which I have access allows audio conferencing using your laptop's audio capabilities (microphone) rather than having to dial in.  Jim took me up on the offer on a "trial basis".  So, this week we'll try the ISO webex facility, and make a decision after we see how well it works whether to use CSR's webex or not going forward.  So, the webex info I sent you is for this Friday's meeting only until further notice.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

RR

Mr. Roy,

Thank you.

However, I'm confused. Does this information replace in whole or in part the call coordinates already published on the group's web site? See http://www.ieee802.org/11/
