Fixed White Space Device Operation at Lower Power Levels (we asked for this in 2010). and to 10W EIRP in less congested areas.

 

Fixed and Personal/Portable White Space Device Separation Distances much more like UK TVWS

 

White Space Device Location Accuracy.  Fixed and Mode II personal/portable white space devices may now use location technologies with a lower degree of accuracy than ±50 meters.  !!!

 

Frequencies of Operation for White Space Devices.  White space fixed devices currently may operate on any TV channel between 2 and 51, except for channels 3, 4, and 37, while personal/portable white space devices may operate on channels 21-51, again excluding channel 37.  The Commission modifies its rules (i) to allow fixed devices to operate on TV channels 3 and 4 as well, and (ii) to allow personal/portable devices to operate on channels 14-20.!!!
