Hi Roy,
In my uploaded comments, every CID has an associated clause number (I checked the file I used to upload my comments). For some reason, these clause numbers were lost when the comments are integrated into the database.
I am confident with the mapping of my comments and the clause numbers. I verified them before emailing you on Tuesday.
Regarding the clauses that are already assigned: — Since some comments clearly relate to different parts of a common (sometimes long) clause, would it be more efficient to assign them to different assignees? It’s very often that we cannot resolve all the comments relating to one specific clause all at the same time anyway. — For the comments that touch the same part of a common clause, maybe multiple assignees can collaborate on the resolutions and generate a coherent text proposal.
Regards, Qi
Hi Qi,
I've been looking through your requests and found discrepancies in your section asks in relation to the CID numbers.
First as Christian states the following sections were already allocated to him: - 9.3.1.19
- 9.4.2.279
- 11.22.6.4.4.3
Other sections also have collisions. For example, your second ask is a section claimed by Dibahar-Das. There are other examples.
Further, I started looking at the CID numbers in relation to the section numbers. For example (your first ask): CID 2282 and CID 2283 are not listed in section 9.3.1.19 in the spreadsheet, they actually have no section number at all. Looking at the comment itself, I see they are however taken from 9.3.1.19 as you state.
In conclusion, as this is one of your comments, you must have forgotten to add a section number when you entered the comment (or somehow the Access database lost it). Without the section number (clause) its hard for me to make progress without spending a lot of time to generate them, and see where all the collisions are. Its possible you didn't add section numbers for any of your CID/comments.
How do you want to proceed? Are you confident that the section/CID attributions in your email are all correct? If so, I can take your word on it and add those sections into the spreadsheet, re-sort and see if there is a collision with any claimed section, or see if they are free so I can assign it to you.
I can work on this again tomorrow -please let me know your thoughts.

Qi,
Please can you convert these comment CIDs into a set of section requests (as discussed in the TGaz meeting), so I can ensure you are covering all the comments within a section.
Then I'll make the assignment.
Thanks,

Hi Roy,

The other two comments of mine (CID 2292, 2288) are already assigned to the editor.

Hi Qi and all TGaz:
The spreadsheet 11-19/431r1 I uploaded has two filters turned on, which I found useful, but it may result in you not finding CIDs you are looking for.
These filters are:
1. Type of Comment (only Technical Comments are shown)
2. Assignee . (Blanks - not assigned - are filtered)
You should turn these two filters off in the corresponding excel column-header cell if you want to see the full spreadsheet state.
In future uploads, I'll turn these off to avoid confusion.

Hi Roy,
In 431r1, I couldn’t find my comments… Is this because my comments don’t have assignees yet or some other reasons?
Again, I would like to volunteer for CID 2274 — 2311. If some of these are still unsigned, please sign them to me.
Thanks, Qi
Dear TGaz,
I have uploaded the LB240 database spreadsheet r1 containing the initial 481 out of 785 comment resolution assignments;
Please let me know if there are any corrections, and if any of you volunteer for additional comments.
Also please engage on the reflector if you would like to negotiate taking over a comment resolution that has already been assigned.
