Hi Qi,

I've been through your comment request list and mapped it to those that are unassigned, and therefore now assigned to you, and those sections already assigned to other members of TGaz. The list is annotated at the end of this email.

Answering your questions (>>>> below). I think these are fine suggestions. To make this fair to the folk that asked for these sections first, I'm going to suggest that you contact them as the primary for that section, and ask if you can take on a particular CID or partitioned paragraph. If you both agree, just email me with all of us CCed, and then I'll reassign the unique CIDs to you. For combined work, I'm assuming you'll agree the new primary owner of the CID, and the primary will then be responsible for integrating contributing edits.

First as Christian states the following sections were already allocated to him:
  • 9.3.1.19
  • 9.4.2.279
  • 11.22.6.4.4.3

Other sections also have collisions. For example, your second ask is a section claimed by Dibahar-Das. There are other examples.

Further, I started looking at the CID numbers in relation to the section numbers.
For example (your first ask): CID 2282 and CID 2283 are not listed in section 9.3.1.19 in the spreadsheet, they actually have no section number at all. Looking at the comment itself, I see they are however taken from 9.3.1.19 as you state. 

In conclusion, as this is one of your comments, you must have forgotten to add a section number when you entered the comment (or somehow the Access database lost it). Without the section number  (clause) its hard for me to make progress without spending a lot of time to generate them, and see where all the collisions are. Its possible you didn't add section numbers for any of your CID/comments.

How do you want to proceed? Are you confident that the section/CID attributions in your email are all correct? If so, I can take your word on it and add those sections into the spreadsheet, re-sort and see if there is a collision with any claimed section, or see if they are free so I can assign it to you. 

I can work on this again tomorrow -please let me know your thoughts.

The spreadsheet 11-19/431r1 I uploaded has two filters turned on, which I found useful, but it may result in you not finding CIDs you are looking for.

These filters are:

1. Type of Comment (only Technical Comments are shown)

2. Assignee . (Blanks - not assigned -  are filtered)

You should turn these two filters off in the corresponding excel column-header cell if you want to see the full spreadsheet state.

In future uploads, I'll turn these off to avoid confusion.
