Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] PDT-MAC-MLO-Retransmissions

Dear Rojan,

Thank you for prompt response.

According to the motion [105], two conditions need be satisfied to consider a link as "enabled".

1. can be used for frame exchange

2. at least one TID is mapped

So, it is possible a link that has the TID  mapped to it is disabled link.

It is okay by me to let the text as it is, if we can think that is obvious an MLD may attempt retransmissions through enabled link only.

Best regard,

Dear Sanghyun,

Thank you for the comment. As for SFD, a link is considered enabled as long as at least one TID is mapped to the link. So by definition “any link that has the TID mapped to it” is an enabled link, as such I do not think we need to add “enabled” here. Let me know if you have further thoughts on this.

A link, that is setup as part of a multi-link setup, is defined as Enabled if that link can be used for frame exchange and at least one TID is mapped to that link.

NOTE – Frame exchange on a link is subject to the power state of the corresponding non-AP STA.

[Motion 105, [21] and [118]]

Rojan

Hi Rojan

Thanks for sharing the draft.

Just a small comment, in my understanding "any available link" in the motion text refers to links that have TID mapped and enabled.

Could you change "any link that has the TID mapped to it" to "any enabled link that as the TID mapped to it" (very last part of the sentence)

Best Regard,

Sanghyun Kim

Please help to review and let me know if there is anything.
