Hi Ron, I don’t have the data handy but will try to dig out some. One example/assumption in my mind is channel 36 allow 17dBm for 20MHz pre-EHT, but a small RU can potentially be 20dBm. Hi Ron Please refer to the link below for the reason of allowing deboosting the pre-HE portion. Although the tone plan change improves the situation, deboosting may still be required for the case that pre-EHT is 20MHz and EHT is narrower (e.g.

Hi Yan, Thanks for the responses. On item 1) I’m forgetting the reason/need for it in 11ax, if it has to do with tone plan that was changed in 11be we may not need it. Suggest to discuss this a bit more explicitly then?
