Hi Dongguk, Thanks for your e-mail. It seems that if the bits are un-used, we can have them as reserved. There does not seem to be an issue with that. Of-course if other bits get adopted, reserved bits will reduce.
Regardless, I have the number of reserved bits as TBD right now. Regards, Sameer From: Dongguk Lim <dongguk.lim@xxxxxxx> CAUTION:
This email originated from outside of the organization. Hi Sameer, Thanks for your efforts. I have one comment. The many reserved bits were included in the U-SIG field of MU/TB PPDU.
Since the reserved bit may be defined after the all of subfields for U-SIG are defined, I think that
it is good to remove the all reserved bit in the U-Sig fields. Best regards Dongguk From: Sameer Vermani [mailto:svverman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]
Hello all, My colleague Alice and I have uploaded the document on PHY draft text for U-SIG to the documents server. The link is below: https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/20/11-20-1464-00-00be-pdt-phy-u-sig.docx Please let me know if you have any comments. Thanks, Sameer From: Sameer Vermani
Hello U-SIG TTTs, and all, We need to develop the following 4 sub-sections for the TGbe spec draft on U-SIG.
Tentatively, I would like to volunteer for the General and Content sub-sections of the U-SIG section if that is ok with everyone. Within the content section, there might be various PPDU types, e.g.,
‘SU/MU unified’ and TB PPDU. The CRC computation and ‘Encoding and modulation’ sections should be very similar to 802.11ax. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Sameer To unsubscribe from the STDS-802-11-TGBE list, click the following link:
