Agreed with the nice guy. Suggest to remain the original text.

主题: Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] CR about CID 12594
I would not make any changes to the existing draft.
Note that the beamformee is required (i.e. using shall) to respond with the parameters dictated by the beamformer.
So there should not be a mismatch as suggested in the cid.

Hi All,
Today’s Joint CC, we discussed CR about CID 12594 as below,

According to the current text, the bitmap Partial BW Info subfield in the MIMO Control field indicates each resolution
bandwidth that the beamformer is requesting feedback". However, as part of the Beamforming Report, the MIMO Control field should describe the content of the measured feedback that was actually done by the beamformee. Thus, it should indicate each resolution
bandwidth that the beamformee has included a feedback in the current BFR.
If the MIMO Control field will keep indicating the parameters requested by the beamformer - a case of a mismatch between the Beamformer request and the beamformee report will never be discovered - causing the beamformer to use erroneous feedback parameters
in such a case.

Revise the text as follows: " The Feedback Bitmap subfield indicates each resolution bandwidth for which the beamformee
includes a feedback"
|
I thought that MIMO Control field and feedback are transmitted by beamformee and so it’s not bad to match the value between feedback
and resolution by beamformee.
But many members want to keep the original sentence, and I think it’s good to keep it and add NOTE as Youhan suggested as below.
But Zinan said it’s redundant.
So please give your opinion if you have.
Table 9-127a—EHT MIMO Control field encoding
Partial BW Info
|
This subfield is defined as in Figure 9-80b (Partial BW Info subfield format). The Resolution bit indicates
the feedback resolution bandwidth. Set to 0 to indicate resolution of 20 MHz if the BW subfield is set to 0 to 3. Set to 1 to indicate resolution of 40 MHz if the BW subfield is set to 4. The Feedback Bitmap subfield indicates each resolution bandwidth that
the beamformer is requesting /
beamformee is reporting feedback. Each bit in the Feedback Bitmap subfield is set to 1 if the feedback on the corresponding bandwidth is
requested / reported, and is set to 0 otherwise.
NOTE - The Partial BW Info subfield is set to the same value of the Partial BW Info subfield in the
NDP Announcement frame. See 35.7.3.
