Hi Chaoming,

Thanks for your prompt answer. I got your point, so you assume there is no delayed report more than one instance right? Beyond it, it’s not the scope of your motion?

Jinsoo

Hi Jinsoo,

Thanks for your comments! I think this question has been discussed when I present 21/1438r0 in the Sept. Interim.  After that discussion, we changed the SP text to the current one which explicitly states for "multiple measurement setups".

IMHO, the reason why we set this limitation is: for one single measurement setup, if it's delayed reporting,  if the measurement result of instance 1 would be reported in instance 2, and the measurement result of instance 2 would be reported in instance 3, and so on, that is to say the delay always happens, and it seems NOT possible to have measurement result of instance 1 and 2 both ready at the reporting phase of instance 2.

BR,

Chaoming

Hi Chaoming,

Thanks for bring up the motion. I’m wondering whether the measurement results that will be sent by delayed reporting should be necessarily from multiple measurement setups or it could be also your target scenario to have the results from multiple measurement instances but by one single measurement setup since in this case the delayed feedback may be also useful.

You illustrates just the multiple measurement setups case and the SP was made accordingly, so it’s a bit confusing to me. Can you please elaborate your thought on that and see if some text clarification is needed?

Jinsoo

Hi Tony,

I would like to submit 1 motion request as the following:

Motion 1

Do you agree to add the following into 11bf SFD ?

  • In reporting phase, the measurement results from multiple measurement setups of a sensing responder may be included in a single measurement report frame for delayed reporting.
    • Support for obtaining more than one measurement results in a single measurement report frame sent by the responder is optional for the initiator.
    • Support for buffering more than one measurement result and sending it in a single measurement report frame to the initiator is optional for the responder.
