Re: [STDS-802-11] HEW SG overview outline

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---

Hi, Eldad, Yasu, and ALL,

I do see and support Yasu’s point regarding adding some material to emphasize the “High Efficiency (HE)” point of this project, in addition to the currently proposed contents items similar to those in VHT SG overview tutorial. It makes sense to draw attention on which both Throughput and Efficiency are targeted by this new project.

Best,

Lei

Hello Eldad,

Thank you for the outline for the HEW SG overview.
It looks good to me.

I was wondering if we should add something like problem statement.
It will be good for better understanding the purpose and objective
of this activity.
What do you think about that?

Best regards,
Yasu

Hello all,

Below is an initial draft of an outline for the HEW SG overview:

·         Overview

·         Market Drivers

·         Applications / Usage Scenarios

·         Technology

·         PAR Scope & Explanatory Notes

·         References / Related Submissions

I based this on the VHT SG overviews.  Links are given below:

Please email suggested outline modifications to the reflector within the following week.  We will begin drafting slides after that.

Regards,

Eldad
