Hello Joonsuk,
If governments instruct their citizens not to travel, then we might have due cause to
cancel a meeting. Depending on the reason for cancelling a meeting, we may have to
pay a cancellation fee of hundreds of thousands of dollars – that is why the 802 Wireless
treasury maintains this kind of balance – to avoid bankrupting our organization on the
basis of a single cancelled meeting.
It takes approximately a couple of years to put together the contracts for a meeting
venue – how much you pay for the room, the meeting space, the food, the network…
Moving the meeting is not a viable alternative.
It would be sad if a single terrorist attack caused people to blindly panic. Please pay attention
to what your governments say for informed instruction.

I seconded we may need to take this a bit more seriously. This IEEE meeting is for representatives of many companies worldwide, which can be an easy target for them, rather than random individual tourists. We may need to start looking at
alternative approach since we have only one month ahead.
