--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---11me/D1.0 CIDs 1639, 1640 and 1641 propose to mark IBSS, PBSS and MBSS
respectively as deprecated, on the basis that it is not clear anyone cares
about these modes of operation anymore, and that they are not being
maintained (or alternatively one could say the cost of maintaining
them is not worth it, or the expertise needed to maintain them is
lacking).
This thread is to solicit opinions on these proposals.
