[STDS-802-11] Poland's regulator presentation on Tuesday AM2

Dear 802.18 participants,

In the upcoming May 2024 IEEE 802 wireless interim, I am happy to inform you that Mr. Mariusz Gruszczyński, Head of Radiocommunication Networks Unit in the Department of Radio Spectrum of the Office of Electronic Communications, Poland, will deliver an invited presentation on radio spectrum management and regulation in Poland during our IEEE 802.18 opening meeting on Tuesday AM2 (14 May 2024).

The title and abstract of his presentation are as follows:
Selected aspects of radio spectrum management and regulation in the Republic of Poland

The presentation will briefly discuss the tasks of the President of UKE as a regulatory body in the field of telecommunications, postal activities and frequency resources management. The frequency bands for terrestrial systems capable of providing nationwide electronic communications services will be presented, as well as the frequency band in which private and local networks can be launched. In addition, the current status of 5G technology implementation and our upcoming plans in this regard will be discussed. Finally, regulations on unlicensed radio spectrum for broadband data transmission will be presented.

This invited presentation is scheduled on Tuesday AM2, 14 May 2024, during the IEEE 802.18 opening meeting.
