[STDS-802-11] Czech's consultation on radio spectrum management strategy (5 GHz and 6 GHz related)

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Dear 802.18 participants,
cc. 802.11, 802.15, 802.19 participants,

On 10 October 2024, Czech's administration - CTU - began a consultation that seeks public opinion on its draft radio spectrum management strategy.

Of possible interest to us are:
1)  Upper 6 GHz band - the admin plans to continue working with global stakeholders on any sharing studies between RLAN and IMT
2)  Lower 6 GHz band - the admin does not rule out extending the use of lower 6 GHz band from indoor RLAN operation to outdoor operations, provided that existing incumbent services will not be affected
3)  Light licensing at 5.2 GHz, 5.8 GHz. and 60 GHz: the admin plans to consider an appropriate adjustment to the regulatory conditions for shared use.

For details, please visit:
https://ctu.gov.cz/navrh-strategie-spravy-spektra

The official submission deadline is 11 November 2024.  If you would like IEEE 802 LMSC to prepare a response, please bring a contribution to IEEE 802.18 no later than 3pm ET, Thursday, 7 November 2024.

Regards,
Edward
