Dear 802.18 participants,
cc. 802.11, 802.15, 802.19 participants,

On 7 April 2025, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) began a consultation that seeks public opinion on its Draft National Radio Frequency Plan (NRFP) 2025.

Of possible interest to us is that, following the outcome of the WRC 2023, the administration decides to allocate 6425 MHz to 7125 MHz for IMT identification.

The comment submission deadline is 30 May 2025.  If you would like IEEE 802 LMSC to submit any response, please bring a contribution to IEEE 802.18 to review and consider approval no later than the opening meeting of the IEEE 802.18 May 2025 wireless interim (i.e., 10:30am CET, Tuesday, 13 May 2025).
