Re: [STDS-802-16-MOBILE] Question on H-ARQ allocation

Mark,

Thanks for your response. In one frame, there will be a fixed of non-H-ARQ
and H-ARQ traffic, correct? In this case, which is the first subchannel as
you indicated in your email?

Also, when you say it's sequential, say, the first allocation uses 4
subchannels and 6 symbols time (based on Nsch and Nep), where is the next
allocation going to start? Time axis or frequency axis?

Thanks again for the help.

Mary

Mary,

The HARQ_MAP allocations are sequential. The first SS allocation starts
from the first subchannel through the length of his allocation as specified
by Nep and Nsch. The second SS allocation starts immediately following the
first through the length of their allocation. etc.

Subject: Question on H-ARQ allocation

Hi,

I have some question on H-ARQ allocation and hope someone will help me to
clarify this.

In H-ARQ Map, only Nsch and Nep is specified. Even if we assume the
allocation in one-dimensional by the entire subchannels will be allocated
for the H-ARQ burst, but where is the subchannel offset index specified?
Also, since there is a few allocation IE, are they suppose to be in
sequential order?

I think the standard text it not clear on this at all. Can someone please
explain?

Thanks for the help.

Mary
