stds-802-16: News on 802.16 Session #15 (10-14 September)
IEEE 802.16's Session #15 <http://ieee802.org/16/meetings/mtg15> will
take place on 10-14 September 2001 at the Denver Marriott Southeast
in Denver, Colorado, USA. Here is some news:
*The deadline for reserving a room at the conference hotel is this
coming Monday, August 13. The hotel has added extra rooms to our
block; as of this morning, rooms are still available. Please act soon.
*The registration fee will be $120, payable only at the hotel front
desk by credit card or by charge to your room. A registration fee
authorization form will be available at the front desk and on-line
(though it's not posted yet).
*Full-time Internet service, accessible by 802.11b wireless LAN or
Ethernet, will be provided.
*Please pre-register

plans. This doesn't require a payment!
*While I am traveling (August 13-26), I won't be able to update the
registration list regularly.

*Hotel Reservations
The room rate is $112 per room (single or multiple occupancy), plus
tax. The reserved room block is guaranteed only through the deadline
of Monday August 13.
You have three choices to reserve your room:

You may now pre-register for 802.16 Session #15 on-line using the
link above. There is no discount for advance registration, but, then
again, you need not pay the fee until you arrive. The meeting plans
require accurate numbers, so please take a moment to pre-register.
The form also lets you simply report that you won't be able to attend
this time, so, if we would normally expect you and you can't make it,
please take a moment to let us know. Also, immediately use the form
to cancel if your plans change!
