Important information for all potential 802 attendees:
a) The 802 Plenary Web Registration service is NOW AVAILABLE for your use.

As a reminder, the Web Pre-Registration Deadline is:

to receive the Web Pre-Reg discount and save $50 !!!
b) The Hyatt Regency Dallas Forth Worth at Dallas Fort Worth Airport,
Dallas, Texas is the site for the upcoming March 2003 IEEE 802
Plenary Meeting. The special IEEE 802 room block is now NEARLY SOLD
OUT. If the hotel becomes SOLD OUT, please call the Hyatt Regency
DFW directly at 972-453-1234 and request to be put onto the IEEE 802
WAIT-LIST. This group has many last minute cancellations, and the
hotel will contact you when rooms become available. You may also
wish to call the hotel during the 1 to 2 weeks prior to the start of
the Plenary Meeting to check status of your reservation request. The
special IEEE 802 rates are $139/night for single, double, or twin
occupancy plus applicable taxes. Room reservations may be canceled
without penalty up until 6 PM of arrival date. The room block
cut-off date is: Friday, February 21, 2003.

c) The Hyatt Regency Dallas Forth Worth is located inside Dallas Fort
Worth Airport. Parking for in-house guests or other visitors is
complimentary. For local attendees, parking must be validated at the
front desk. Complimentary Hotel airport shuttle is available from
all airline terminals. Please contact the hotel directly to request
pick-up.
d) The IEEE 802 Opening Plenary will begin Monday, March 10th at
11:00am and the 802 Working Group Meetings will begin at 1:00pm.
Please note: Some of the 802 Working Groups have scheduled meetings
for Friday, March 14th. Please visit the home web sites for your
Working Groups for their detailed agendas. The closing Executive
Committee meeting is currently scheduled to be held from 1pm to 6pm
on Friday, March 14h.
