stds-802-16: 802 EMS Tutorial Session - Editor Training

People,

I encourage all of you to attend the "Education, Mentoring, Support" session on Monday evening. The last one was very effective, and I think you will learn a lot in this one too. Plus, Howard can be pretty entertaining.

Anyone participating in editing should attend. If you have any interest in editing, it would be a good idea. If you even care what goes into the edited document, it would be worth your while to understand the concepts, because they affect what the editor can do in practice.

I hope to see you there!

Roger

In this session, we will provide a tutorial on the IEEE Standards Style Manual, the IEEE Standards Framemaker template, and the draft creation and editing process. The tutorial will emphasize the use of Framemaker desktop publishing software. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their laptop computers with Framemaker v7.0 installed. The tutorial will be most useful for new editors, or those new to Framemaker.
