[STDS-802-16] LE Ad-hoc - Identification of interference scenarios

Itzik,

Thanks for suggestion, will save the time needed to set-up the
 correspondence list. The header will be "LE Ad-hoc".

We will start the LE Ad-hoc activity with pct. 1:

1. Identification of scenarios in which interference between cells
 can cause disruption in service; will be taken into account both
 "access providers" installations and private networks.

A. For computations, please input values for:

- BST antenna gain: omni, sectorial;
- SS antenna gain: omni, directional;
- Tx electrical power, BST and SS;
- Antenna patterns, including the "dispersive effect" of reflections.
  We may work with a limited no. of points for the pattern.

B. Tomorrow, I will input an interference scenario file, to be
 up-dated by the group.

C. Regarding the installation type, please comment about "private
 networks": will 802.16 be used by private users, schools, etc. to
achieve higher covered area? If yes, the deployment will become
 "ad-hoc", and the operator co-ordination assumption will play a
 smaller role.

Regards,

Marianna

Re-send with a subject line..

Marianna,

Can you please make the discussion on the open reflector,
with a designated mail header, such that non-interesting
people can filter it out.
I believe that, as was done in other ad hocs, such open
process will reach more people, which does not know in the
moment if they are interested or not, but may be, according
to the progress of the work.
In addition, it will be easier to avoid maintaining big
address lists, which may be increased with addition of others.

Regards,
Itzik.
