[STDS-802-16] LE Ad-hoc - 3.65GHz NPRM
Dear Colleagues,
FCC, having in mind the WISPs spectrum needs, intends to
allocate the 3650-3700MHz spectrum for un-licensed services.
The high power Fixed Devices are allowed to transmit up to
25W e.i.r.p.
The mobile ones, up to 1W e.i.r.p.
Even if the allocated spectrum is not much, may be really
used for WDSL applications. However, few things are missing
and I perceive that is the 802.16 role to do for this band what
802.11 did in 2.4GHz and 5GHz:
- define the channelization;
- define the co-existence mechanism.
Please comment.
Regards,
Marianna
P.S. I cannot attach the NPRM (FCC 04-100). The PDF was rejected
