Hi, Prakash and all
As I said in CC, the main purpose of our contribution regarding MBS
(H80216e-04_01) is to provide an MSS trying to handover
with prior information of neighbor BS whether it can support MBS or
not through NBR_ADV message.
We think that there may be a case where there are two BSs and one BS
supports MBS and the other one doesn't.
In that case, we feel that this consideration may be helpful to enable the
MSS to continue receiving MBS service by choosing the BS that can support MBS as
the first target BS.
Yong Chang's concern about our contribution is that a BS supporting MBS
cannot be a candidate BS for HO because the MSS trying to HO may already have a
connection with the BS that supports MBS under the assumption that all BS are
synchronized perfectly and transmitting same data (macro diversity).
If anyone who reviewed our contribution has a useful comment, I
anticipate your feedback.

I would like to review the status on
these two contributions during our call later today for the benefit of others
participating in the adhoc. Given limited time, let's agree on a streamlined
process for everyone interested in contributing to MBS to do so now, so
we can indeed come up with a harmonized draft next week and tweak as needed
based on feedback.

Unfortunately, since I could not catch this conference call, I wanna say
the current status of MBS related issues on this e-mail exploder.
Up to now, a few companies are taking offline discussions for the
harmonized MBS contribution.
I think that we can provide the initial harmonized contribution to the
next conference call for review.
If there is anyone to have an interest on MBS to harmonize our last
contribution #201r1, then please contact me directly.
